How Our Ranking System Works
We identify brake shops near you
When you search, we query Google Business Profile data for brake and auto service shops within your specified radius. We filter specifically for businesses that offer brake services.
We score each shop
Each shop receives a score based on two factors: total number of reviews (weighted at 60%) and average star rating (weighted at 40%). This rewards shops that have both volume and quality.
We rank the top 10
The 10 highest-scoring shops in your area are displayed in order. Sponsored listings always appear first and are clearly labeled — organic rankings below them are never influenced by payment.
We keep it current
Rankings are refreshed regularly to reflect new reviews and rating changes. A shop that earns more reviews or improves its rating will move up in organic rankings automatically.
